About
Nestled just outside Falconer, New York and minutes from Jamestown in Chautauqua County, Falconer Rod & Gun Club, Inc. is a longstanding membership-owned conservation and sportsman organization rooted in outdoor tradition since its founding on August 22, 1922 and formal incorporation in 1933.
The club’s original mission is clear: to promote the protection, propagation, and preservation of fish, game, birds, and the natural heritage of the region — an ideal fit for hunters, anglers, and shooting sports enthusiasts across Western NY.
With more than a century of community involvement, the club offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities tailored to local sportsmen. Its facilities include well-maintained pistol and rifle ranges outfitted with sheltered range houses and berms, a lighted archery range with multiple yardages and a tree-stand-style elevated platform, public skeet shooting hours, and a scenic fishing pond where members enjoy casual catch-and-release fishing.
The Club also serves as a hub for community and family events with picnic areas, BBQ pits, a pavilion, and rentals for celebrations — making it more than a shooting destination but a gathering place for like-minded outdoors lovers in the Falconer and Jamestown area.
Monthly membership meetings and sanctioned range activities support responsible firearm use and conservation education.
Whether you’re a hunter sighting in equipment, a shooter fine-tuning skills ahead of the season, or a family looking to connect with local conservationists, Falconer Rod & Gun Club provides proud Western New York sportsmen with quality outdoor facilities and a vibrant membership community.
